BTC Group has been lead partner in two major European funded projects, both involing innovative approaches to online learning. Our Objective One project focussed on providing targeted learning to small and medium sized businesses in the North Wales region.
This customer centered approach provided coaching for individuals on relevant issues that could make an immmediate difference to their business. Our 'all Wales' EQUAL programme is focussed on researching new approaches to raising awareness amongst large numbers of people about diversity issues and to explore how e-communities can help develop and share best practice.

BTC Group undertakes research projects to identify training needs or to evaluate the effectiveness of learning and training initiatives. Research is an integral part of our current Equal Programme and we work in partnership with the University of Wales, Bangor to research the effectiveness of our online diversity modules.
We have conducted research on the training needs of directors for the Institute of Directors and developed an self assement tool for benchmarking an HR function against world class standards. Evaluation is a core part of our approach to learning and is an ongoing process. We are currently developing new research methods to benchmark personal and organisational development.
